Federico Di Gennaro is the Head of Strategic Projects of AISCAT Servizi, the engineering branch of AISCAT (Italian Association of Toll Motorways).
AISCAT SERVIZI (www.aiscatservizi.com) is a transport consulting engineering company founded in 2005 as subsidiary of AISCAT, (the Italian Association of Toll Motorways and Tunnels Concessionaire Companies) with the aim of supporting the Italian Motorway Companies, by providing added-values services in the fields of road engineering and transport economics. Since its establishment, “Aiscat Servizi” provided its expertise to both national and international partners, by carrying out several International Assignments (funded by EBRD, World Bank, European Commission) aimed at supporting private companies and public entities in improving management and operation activities of motorways, in Italy and abroad.
He is currently responsible for the Identification, Development and Management of R&D and Consultancy opportunities across the following main areas: Mobility & Infrastructures, ICT & Tolling System, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction, Asset management.
He is also responsible for the management of European Research &Development projects, funded by Horizon 2020 programme, and International Financial Institutions’ opportunities mainly in the European and African countries.
Born in 1980 in Rome (Italy), he graduated as a Transport Engineer with an award thesis on Road Safety, then he went on a training experience in Brussels with the European Transport Safety Council, and a volunteer experience with Italian Red Cross as responsible for Road Safety Campaign implementation.
After a working experience with one of the main engineering consultancy company in Italy, in 2015 he joined AISCAT Servizi.
